There are those who should be famous, those who want to be famous, and we’ll get to you eventually, and then there are those who merely want to meet Diane Sawyer.

At Ramblings of an Undisturbed Mind, this girlie geek with an intact and only slightly irregular mind, wants to meet Diane Sawyer, and she should of course. Not because she is one of those rare people who actually loved Junior High, or for her 2 kids, 8 tattoos, and the dream, but because quite simply, Girl Geeks Do It Better.

Knowing there are only six degrees of separation between her and dear Diane, and probably anyone else for that matter, she is on a quest.

Working in a field, not corn, full of men, and where, according to her own quote and the nodding heads of countless females, “a man’s penis is, apparently, really eligible to think for him regarding technical issues”, things aren’t always smooth for a female. She is steadfast, however in her choice of a role model.

This self proclaimed girl geek has a longstanding dream, and she has decided to let blogging help her make her dream come true. She’s not asking for much, just a small ego pep talk via phone from someone she has admired since she was 17 years old.

We’d like to shoot for more of course.

We want to keep the mind of such a fine geek girl as undisturbed as possible, so we’ve decided to help her with her quest.
