Adam Freetly
Crashed on the floor when I moved in
This little bungalow with some strange new friends
Blogging is a funny thing. For some it’s fun, others money, and for others a way to get at least two or three people to read what is on your mind.
In blogging, as in real life, a house is not a home if no one is there, but you must first have a home. It is infinitely more rewarding to entertain in a kick ass well designed home, one that doesn’t come out of a box, has lots of room, nice closets and working appliances. It’s also nice to know that the builder won’t totally dis you when a few days after moving in you have some questions. Even if you didn’t pay him for the house.
The inaugural Should Be Famous post features someone who designs many things, blog houses included. A Wordpress Guru whose designs I use for my personal blog.
“sunburntkamel” on the internet highways, designing under brand name archGFX , Adam Freetly is a creative force.
It takes a long time to find a theme for a personal blog which feels totally comfortable, it’s harder yet to find anything that fifteen hundred other people do not already use.
His themes are creative, with very distinctive graphics. Aesthetically pleasing, especially to those of us who do not necessary feel we will die without an overabundance of whitespace, there is what I like to call an “abstract mathematical precision” to the skins he designs for the Sandbox. His designs, are a meeting of art and intellect not usually seen in the WordPress themes out there.
I can only imagine the work which goes in to themes of all theme designers, but of all the themes out there I believe Adam has a heads up on both the creative and artistic end.
If Adam is not already famous, he should be.
