Through a Dirty Lens
Finding those who deserve fame, and proclaiming it to be the case is a tough, yet pleasing, job.
Welcome our newest Famers, Ned and Aya Rosen - Louche Lab.
There are a few sites involved here, from the original Dirty Lens blog, where I found Ned years ago now it seems, to Aya’s blog home world, their cooperative gets listed by default for it’s comprehensiveness.

I came upon Ned my first year blogging, at Dirty Lens, a blog where at the time, Ned, a photographer in NYC, was merely posting a collection of pictures taken with a camera phone, along with musings on his life, and life situation. I found him floating out there in the blogesphere when the blogesphere, except for those interested in the technical aspects of it, was not all that familiar to most of us.
I was 18 or 19 at the time, always touched by his words and appreciative of his photography.
Nine months later Ned, at more or less a crossroads in his life would happen upon a Flickr photo of some art which interested him, a photo which turned out to be from an artist living in Tel Aviv, Israel. Ned would go on to contact the artist, and eventually……the artist would become his wife.
Aya Rosen has posted their story Handmade Weddings: LoucheLab’s Love Story
Louch Lab is cooperative effort. An about section gives a briefing on the artists. Various links at the site will connect you with their art, and their other sites.
You can sift through Ned’s Dirty Lens Blog to get the feel for his story from the beginning before Aya.
An obvious peace and joy descend upon those who bravely grab for it. It seems the case here.
You can also find Aya at Louchelab/blogspot, and home world
Go, enjoy, there is much to see, read, appreciate, and even purchase. It will take some time so bookmark the site.
Your welcome.

I’m In Cinq…….. Are You?
Our “Famer” today is a university student with a community art project blog. That she is somewhat famous already doesn’t matter, we couldn’t let the year end without giving her more kudos.
Adria is the creative inspiration behind this project.

I first came across In Cinq when I started scrolling My Blog Log last spring. I soon decided to take part in the project. It was something I hadn’t seen before. These days it takes a long time to come upon something truly unique in the land of blogs. In Cinq was definitely one of those blogs.
In Cinq is one of the most interesting, and creative blogs I stumbled upon in the past year.
Via an anonymous drop box, if you prefer, you submit a photo of yourself, not of the yearbook variety. Along with the photograph
you “reveal yourself” in a nine word poem called a cinquain. The format of the poem is as follows:
1st line: one word that represents you
2nd line: two words that describe you
3rd line: three words that show you
4th line: two words that express you
5th line: the essence of you, in one word
The results are fabulous self portraits from people across the web, and the world.
There was no choice but to select In Cing for our list here at Should Be Famous.
If you haven’t checked out her project you must do so now. Only you can make the decision to be In Cinq.
